동욱의 첫번째 단독 더블 싱글 [Blinded]이 발매되었다. 동료 기타리스트 정재연이[Butterfly]의 작곡과 기타녹음에 참여하였고, 이전 가수 이동주의 [새벽길]에서 보여준 모습처럼 둘의 완성도 높은 사운드의 합을 보여준다.

아티스트 자신의 자전적 내용을 담은 가사들로 채워진 두개의 곡 [Dedication]과[Butterfly]는 자신과의 대화를 바탕으로 채워진 내용들로,
꿈에 스스로를 좀먹는다 생각하는 현실적 자아와 현실적 고민으로 스스로를 좀먹는다 생각하는 이상적 자아의 대화를 주제로 곡의 전개를 이루고 있다.

어두운 가사와 분위기의 [Dedication]은 꿈에 낭비되어지는 시간을 후회하지만, 밝고 희망적인 분위기의 [Butterfly]는 희망을 잃지 않도록 용기를 북돋아주고 있다.
